📚Today I would like to discuss a small investigation about trading indicators📈📉
There is no "magic" indicator, but in 2025 the key is confluence: using a small set of tools that measure different things (trend, strength, and volume) to confirm a signal.
Here are the most effective indicators and how to combine them according to my analysis:
1️⃣. The Classic "Trident" (Ideal for Beginners and Swing Trading) This combination is the most used because it covers the three pillars of technical analysis:
RSI (Relative Strength Index): Measures if the asset is "expensive" or "cheap".
Signal: If the RSI is above 70 (overbought), be careful with buying; if it is below 30 (oversold), look for buying opportunities.
MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence): Tells you where the "tide" is going.
Signal: When the blue line crosses up through the orange, it is a buy signal (bullish momentum).
EMA 50 and 200 (Exponential Moving Averages): Act as dynamic supports and resistances.
Signal: If the price is above the EMA 200, the long-term trend is bullish.
2️⃣. For Volatile Markets (Scalping or Intraday)
If you are looking for quick movements on 5 or 15-minute charts:
Bollinger Bands: Measure the "tension" of the market. When the bands tighten (Squeeze), an explosive movement is coming.
VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price): It is the favorite indicator of institutional traders. If the price is above the VWAP, buyers are in control of the day.
3️⃣. "New Generation" Indicators (Advanced 2025) Order Book & Liquidity Maps: In Binance, observing where the "walls" of buying and selling (liquidity heat maps) are is more useful than many old indicators to know where the price will bounce.
MVRV Z-Score (On-Chain): Specific for Bitcoin. It helps you detect if the price is at a historic "peak" of euphoria or at a "bottom" of capitulation.
