Robert Kiyosaki sells Bitcoin $2.25 million — But says he is still a bad guy
Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad and a long-time supporter of Bitcoin, has sold $2.25 million USD of BTC - but not because he is giving up on cryptocurrency.
Kiyosaki said he bought his Bitcoin last year for about $6,000 and recently sold it for $90,000 each, bringing in a large profit.
Instead of keeping the profits in cryptocurrency, he is reinvesting the money into two surgical centers and an advertising business, expecting to generate a tax-free monthly income of $27,500 by February 2026.
Despite selling, Kiyosaki asserts he remains optimistic about Bitcoin and plans to buy more with cash flow from his new investments.
Former trader Peter Brandt predicts Bitcoin could reach $200K by 2029, and analysts say the current ETF cash flow is more about profits than institutional losses.
