P2P Scam Warning 🚫
Hello Binance users,
If you trade on Binance P2P, this information is very important. Many people buy or sell USDT/USDC and receive payments directly in their bank accounts — but this comes with risks. Here’s what you need to know:
Buying Scam:
When you buy USDT/USDC, you send money from your bank to the seller. But sometimes the seller may take your payment and refuse to release the crypto.
Don’t worry — you can start an appeal, and if your payment proof is correct, Binance will return your funds.
Some sellers do this on purpose, so stay alert.
Selling Scam:
When you sell your USDT, you expect the buyer to send money to your bank. Scammers often try this trick:
They don’t send the money, but they send a fake payment message to fool you.
Never trust notifications — always check your bank account manually before releasing your crypto.
Final Tips:
Stay calm, be careful, and double-check every step. This is the best way to avoid P2P scams.
Note:
If I made any mistake, please excuse me.

When you purchase USDT/USDC, you transfer money from your bank to the seller. But what if the seller receives your payment and **doesn’t release the crypto**?
Don’t panic — you can **open an appeal**, and if your proof is valid, Binance will return your money.
Some sellers intentionally trap buyers like this, so stay alert.
### **Sell-side Scam:**
When selling USDT, you expect the buyer to send money to your bank. But many scammers try a different trick:
They **don’t pay you**, but send a **fake payment notification** to make you believe the money arrived.
Never fall for this — always check your bank account **yourself** before releasing the crypto.

### **Final Advice:**
Stay calm, stay cautious, and double-check everything. Being careful is the only way to avoid P2P scams.

If I’ve said anything incorrect, please forgive me.

⚠️ AWARENESS ABOUT P2P FRAUD — PLEASE READ AND SHARE ⚠️ 🇵🇰 How I was scammed in P2P (Pakistan) I went to a merchant to sell USDT. He showed proof that the payment was sent to my EasyPaisa account. I checked my app — the balance was there, so I released the USDT. ⏱ 10 minutes later… I opened EasyPaisa again and the money was REVERSED. That's when I realized — I had been scammed. 💡 Important Lesson (Very Critical): Whenever you receive money from a merchant: 👉 Transfer it immediately to another bank account 👉 Don’t wait. Don’t trust screenshots. 👉 Reversals are possible in some wallets. 🛑 Stay Safe in P2P: ✔️ Double-check the source of the payment ✔️ Avoid rushing under pressure ✔️ Prefer bank transfers over wallets ✔️ Use Binance support if something seems wrong 🙏 Please share this story to protect others. 📢 Awareness can save someone's hard-earned money.
