✅ #Госдума The Russian Federation has adopted in its final form bills on mining and circulation of cryptocurrencies, as well as on experimental calculations.
◽️Now Russian legislation enshrines the concepts of “mining”, “mining pool”, “organization of circulation of digital currency”, and also defines the rights and responsibilities of segment participants. For example, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs registered in a special register will be able to engage in mining.
◽️The ban on organizing the circulation of cryptocurrencies has been removed. The ban on advertising digital assets and industry services remains.
◽️From September 1, cross-border payments and exchange trading in cryptocurrencies will also be allowed under an experimental legal regime.
◽️The Cabinet of Ministers reserves the right to limit mining in certain regions of the Russian Federation. Deputy Anton Gorelkin believes that it will be used in “exceptional cases.”
