EigenLayer is the first project to introduce the restaking model, a solution to the issue of layered security. Restaking is a smart contract that allows participants staking ETH to reuse their locked ETH to enhance the safety of other protocols.

What is EigenLayer?

EigenLayer will create an intermediary layer where stakers grant additional execution rights for staked ETH, supporting restaking into other protocols to ensure security.
