Meet the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) Season 9 Cohort by BNBChain
BNB Chain, the community-driven blockchain ecosystem, has announced the 16 early-stage startups chosen for Season 9 of the Most Valuable Builder (MVB) Accelerator Program. BNB Chain, YZi Labs, and CMC Labs collaborate to run the 4-week accelerator program.
What is the MVB?
MVB aims to empower early-stage Web3 creators with the fundamental resources and advice required to thrive in the BNB Chain ecosystem, a mission that aligns with BNB Chain's vision of onboarding the next billion Web3 users.
Season 9
Season 9 kicked off on April 5th with a two-day offline event in the energetic city of Hong Kong. The timing is in beautiful synchrony with both the Hong Kong Web3 Festival as well as the BNB Super Meetup.
The event presents participants with an invaluable opportunity to network with peers, veteran mentors, and insightful guest speakers. Founders and core teams from different organizations will be working through carefully crafted coursework in important topics relevant to early-stage Web3 projects, such as tokenomics design, fundraising, team development, and talent attraction.
Demo Day and YZi Labs’ investment
The season will conclude with an investment from YZi Labs, based on the pitches on Demo Day and project performance at MVB. On April 24, audiences worldwide will be able to watch the Demo Day as prospective Web3 startups showcase their creations.
Seasons 7 and 8
Last year's program from Season 7/8 produced a remarkable yield of 48 initiatives, keeping with its highly competitive reputation, with Season 9 receiving more than 500 applications. Following an intensely curated selection procedure, 16 Season 9 MVB Accelerator teams were accepted, which are listed in alphabetical order by sector.

Time for a decision
At the end of the four-week accelerator, the 16 project teams will go on stage to showcase and pitch their products to enthusiastic investors on Demo Day. YZi Labs will then discuss and decide on investments in the chosen high-potential project teams.
It should be clear that being accepted to join the MVB Accelerator Program does not guarantee investment in the projects. The investment will be decided by YZi Labs at the completion of the MVB program.
