#保持SAFU stays SAFU: What pitfalls have you encountered in cryptocurrency scams?

The world of cryptocurrency is full of opportunities, but also fraught with traps. From phishing websites to fake customer service, from 'zero risk high return' scams to fake exchanges running away, almost every seasoned investor has paid their tuition.

For example, some people have received 'official emails from Binance' claiming that their account is abnormal and needs verification; after clicking in and entering their password and 2FA, their assets are cleared in the next second. Others were pulled into 'internal message groups', following 'teachers' to operate, only to find their funds transferred to fraudulent platforms and never able to withdraw again. Not to mention those air coins impersonating celebrity endorsements that go to zero as soon as they launch...

What is your experience?

- Have you ever almost been scammed but managed to see through the tricks in the end?

- What is the most outrageous scam you've encountered?

- If a friend just entered the space, what anti-scam advice would you give them?

(Safety reminder: Any private message asking you to transfer money, recovery phrases or verification codes is 100% a scam!)
