Bitcoin spot inflows of $3.2 billion, breaking $124,000, approaching historical peak During the Asian trading session on Sunday, the price of Bitcoin surged, rising from $122,000 to $124,289 within minutes, but did not reach the historical high of $124,429 set in August. Before breaking $124,000, there is huge demand for the spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) listed in the US (#ETF ). Last week, these ETFs recorded a net inflow of $3.24 billion. According to data provider SoSoValue, this is the second-highest weekly inflow on record. #XRP ,#ETH ,#SOL ,#DOGE and other tokens follow the trend of BTC, rising 1% to 3% during the Asian session. Hedging Demand The rise of BTC occurred against the backdrop of the ongoing U.S. government shutdown, with analysts stating that this has increased the hedging demand for this top cryptocurrency. Arca Chief Investment Officer Jeff Dorman famously stated before the government shutdown began, "The only time I bought BTC was when society lost faith in the government and local banks. Before the U.S. government shuts down again, $BTC might be a good choice." In addition to political uncertainty, experts also pointed out important macroeconomic factors driving this rebound.
