As part of a new trade agreement reached in London last week:
โข Total US tariffs on Chinese goods have reached 55%, including a base 10% tariff, 20% due to fentanyl, and 25% of existing fees.
โข In response, China has imposed 10% tariffs on American goods.
Experts note that despite the "reached deal", the impact on the supply chains of rare earth elements will remain uncertain.
