Please note: local rates include domestic premiums, taxes and may vary slightly across cities. --- 🇵🇰 Pakistan Market Rates Metal Unit Rate (PKR) Notes Gold (24K) 1 Tola (~11.66 g) ~ Rs 469,000 for 24K per tola. According to one source as of Oct 17, 2025. Gold (24K) 10 grams ~ Rs 402,100 for 10 grams. Equivalent approx from above. Silver 1 Tola (~11.66 g) ~ Rs 5,401 per tola. Oct 14, 2025 data. Silver 10 grams ~ Rs 4,629 for 10 grams. Same timing. --- 🌍 International / Spot Market Rates Gold (spot) is trading around USD $4,230 per troy ounce (~31.103 grams) in recent days. Silver (spot) has crossed USD $50 per troy ounce in some recent spikes. --- 🔍 Observations & Tips The huge difference between local Pakistani rates and international spot reflects currency fluctuations (PKR vs USD), import/market premiums, local demand/supply, taxes and other fees. For investment purposes, the spot price can be a useful benchmark but actual local buy/sell prices will differ. If you plan to buy in Pakistan, check the exact city’s rate, purity (karat/gram), and whether the quoted rate is per gram or per tola. For silver especially, since it’s more volatile and less “reserve asset” than gold, the premium and local supply can make a big difference. If converting international spot to PKR, use current USD→PKR rate + consider import/purity/local market mark-ups.
