📈 "Bitcoin whale" back in action: moving $1.88 billion in BTC

In the world of cryptocurrencies, mysterious activity from long-term holders continues. Another "bitcoin whale," which had been inactive for the past four years, moved 9,000 BTC worth nearly $1 billion on July 9. Over the course of 24 hours, it transferred 17,283 BTC ($1.88 billion) to new addresses, according to data from Onchain Lens.

It is worth noting that the fees for these transfers were taken by the Coinbase Prime service, which may indicate that the coins will either be sold or sent for custodial storage. Not long ago, other large wallets also began to move, including 80,000 BTC that had been dormant for 14 years.

At the same time, experts warn of possible fraud related to fake legal notices from Saloman Brothers, claiming to control large cryptocurrency wallets.

The price of bitcoin remains unchanged.
