#CryptoClarityAct What Is the CLARITY Act?

In 2025, the U.S. House passed H.R. 3633 – the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, commonly called the CLARITY Act, with a vote of 294–134. The bill now awaits Senate consideration.

It aims to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets by clearly assigning oversight based on asset types:

Digital commodities (e.g. BTC, ETH once decentralized) would fall under the CFTC.

Investment contract assets (early-stage tokens or those with centralized control) would be regulated by the SEC.
