$BNB On the authority of Ubadah ibn al-Samit - may God be pleased with him
He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to me from God, the Blessed and Exalted, and said: O Muhammad, God, the Mighty and Sublime, said to you: I have enjoined upon your nation five prayers. Whoever performs them with their ablutions, their appointed times, and their prostrations, then he has a covenant with Me regarding them that I will admit him into Paradise because of them. And whoever meets Me having omitted anything from them - or a word similar to it - then he has no covenant with Me. If I wish, I will punish him, and if I wish, I will have mercy on him.”

He said: “My Lord came to me in the best form and said: O Muhammad! I said: At your service, my Lord, and to your pleasure. He said: What do the highest assembly dispute about? I said: O Lord, I do not know. He placed his hand between my shoulders, and I felt its coolness between my breasts, and I knew what was between the east and the west. He said: O Muhammad! I said: At your service, my Lord, and to your pleasure. He said: What do the highest assembly dispute about? I said: About degrees, expiations, walking to congregation, performing ablution perfectly in times of dislike, and waiting for one prayer after another. Whoever maintains them will live well and die well, and his sins will be as if they were the day his mother bore him.”

He said: “O mankind, fear your Lord” until His saying “but the punishment of Allah is severe” was revealed to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he was on a journey. He raised his voice with it until his companions came to him and said: “Do you know what day it is?” This is the day when Allah will say to Adam: “Rise and send a group to the Fire: from every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine to the Fire and one to Paradise.” This was difficult for the Muslims, so the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Aim straight and get close and be happy, for by the One in Whose hand is my soul, you are among people like a mole on the side of a camel, or like a mark on the forearm of an animal. With you are two creatures that have never been with anything except that they have multiplied it: Gog and Magog, and those who have perished from among the disbelieving jinn and mankind.”
