Imagine that to verify a fact, you don't just send one reporter (who might be bribed), but instead send thousands of drones carrying tamper-proof cameras, snapshotting from different angles simultaneously, and then using cryptographic techniques (ZK-SNARKs) to merge all the snapshots into a single, absolutely credible final proof.

This is what @Lagrange Official is doing! It can perform large-scale parallel computations on the on-chain state of any blockchain, generating a concise ZK proof that tells the world: "Hey, at a certain moment, this indeed happened on Ethereum; this is cryptographic evidence."
