Today, the company Tether issued 1 billion new USDT tokens on the Tron network. Over the past 25 days, the total issuance volume reached $8 billion. 6 billion tokens were issued on the Ethereum network, while another 2 billion were issued on Tron. During the same period, Bitcoin's price increased by approximately 17%, from $105,000 to a record $123,000.

The issuance itself does not mean an immediate influx of liquidity into the market; however, historically, the increase in the circulation of USDT has often coincided with rising cryptocurrency prices.

The market capitalization, which is also the issuance volume of USDT, exceeds $163.5 billion. In comparison, the competitor USDC from Circle has a figure of $64.2 billion.
