I was impressed by a piece of news about cybersecurity. A hacker managed to steal a considerable amount of crypto from a centralized exchange and, in an attempt to "wash" it and erase his traces, used a mixer. 😱
However, a blockchain analysis firm was able to track him down and trace the funds. 🤯
This demonstrates how powerful the transparency of blockchain is. Bad actors may try, but the technology and analysis tools are improving at a pace that makes hiding increasingly difficult. 👏🏻✅
