🔸️In a world chasing money, power, and fame, a mysterious name emerged that no one knows to this day: Satoshi Nakamoto.
A person — or perhaps a group — that changed the future of the economy forever, then vanished as if they never existed.
🔸️On October 31, 2008, a message appeared on one of the programmers' email lists, carrying a document titled:
"Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System"
This document, or what later became known as the 'white paper', was a declaration of revolution against the global financial system.
🔸️Satoshi proposed a bold idea:
• A decentralized financial system.
• Is not subject to banks or governments.
• Allows the exchange of money directly between individuals over the internet, without an intermediary.
• Relies on a new technology called 'blockchain'.
The paper did not exceed nine pages, but it was enough to cause an earthquake in Wall Street and central banks.
🔸️On January 3, 2009, Satoshi launched the first version of the Bitcoin program and mined the first block in the network, known as the 'genesis block'.
Inside it, he left an encrypted message quoted from the newspaper 'The Times':
"The Treasury Secretary is about to launch a second bailout package for the banks"
It was a clear message criticizing the financial system based on printing money and rescuing corrupt institutions, calling for a free and fair alternative.
🔸️From 2009 to 2010, Satoshi communicated with developers from around the world, explaining his vision and answering their questions. Then suddenly, in 2011... he disappeared!
• His face has not been revealed.
• Did not conduct a single interview.
• Did not reveal his name or nationality.
• Did not demand any financial return.
🔸️It is believed that Satoshi mined nearly one million bitcoins in the early days of the network, which have not moved from their place for over a decade.
If sold today, at a value of $30,000 per bitcoin, his wealth would amount to about $30 billion, having exceeded $60 billion at its peak in 2021, and perhaps $130 billion according to some estimates.
However... nothing was spent from it, no company was established, and he did not seek to market himself or his idea.
All he did:
• Wrote a document.
• Programmed an open-source software.
• Laid the foundation for the largest financial revolution in modern times... then disappeared.
