What is Mitosis (MITO)?

Mitosis is a Layer-1 blockchain that is making liquidity in DeFi more effective and fluid through the Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity (EOL) model.

It uses Hub Assets — meaning, when you deposit an asset, it is converted into a tokenized Hub Asset, which can be used across multiple blockchains.

Mitosis's Token model (MITO, gMITO, and tMITO)

1. MITO: the main utility token, used for staking, receiving rewards, and participating in the network.

2. gMITO: governance token, obtained by staking MITO and can be converted back to MITO at a 1:1 ratio. This allows voting on protocol-related proposals.
