⚡️ The Center for Maritime Trade Operations of Great Britain has received numerous reports from officers about ships operating in the Persian Gulf, stating that the Strait of Hormuz is closed.

Iranian military forces are effectively blocking it. However, ships are still continuing to move.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the arteries of the global energy sector, through which approximately 20% of the world's oil consumption and approximately 20% of the world's liquefied gas exports pass.

Energy raw materials are now heading not to Europe and the USA, but to Asia, particularly India, South Korea, China, and Japan. Thus, the closure will primarily impact the oil imports of these countries.
