$HBAR Update of February 28, 2026: Maintaining the line amidst market pressure ⚡️
Current price: ~$0.096–$0.10 (down ~4% in 24 hours, testing support at $0.094 after falling from an opening of over $0.100). Solid volume of over 200 million HBAR, but a broader cryptocurrency leak (with strong correlation to BTC) is influencing.
Highlights of this week/month:
- Explosion of patents from the U.S. Department of Transportation (February 2026): A senior official calls for a national automated highway system on Hashgraph; validates Hedera for critical infrastructure (tolling, coordination of autonomous vehicles, sensor data). Pilots are expected to be available in 12 to 18 months.
- FedEx joins the Governing Council: new business muscle for global supply chains + tokenization.
The Canary ETF HBAR Spot (HBR) already holds more than 1% of the total supply (over 500 million tokens). More pending ETFs = a continued supply constraint with a cap of 50,000 million.
- Network updates are underway: query processing will move to specialized nodes (mirror/block) by mid-2026, further increasing scalability.
- Boost to institutional custody: Digital Wealth Partners adds HBAR through Anchorage: more access for large amounts of money.
- RWA development activity: Hedera remains in the number 1 spot (Santiment ranking) and generates real momentum in tokenized assets.
Unchanged fundamentals and strengthening: Hashgraph of over 10,000 TPS (not blockchain), fixed fees of less than a cent, aBFT security, negative carbon, council titans (Google, IBM, FedEx, Dell, LG, Repsol) governing it all.
In the short term: A bounce is expected at $0.094 (bullish reversal patterns are observed); resistance at $0.11. Extreme fear = accumulation zone.
In the long term: Government approval + ETF + corporate adoption = readiness for takeoff. Remains the superior technology for AI agents, RWA, and infrastructure.
I am accumulating dips: high conviction.
