In an interview, the US president said that negotiations on Ukraine are continuing, but, as the publication notes, he "once again expressed irritation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky."
"Zelensky needs to get his act together and make a deal," he said.
At the same time, he stressed that he considers Russian President Vladimir Putin "ready to negotiate an end to the war."
"I think Putin is ready to make a deal," he said.
When asked what Zelensky's obstacle to a peace agreement was, Trump declined to elaborate but said that Zelensky was not showing sufficient willingness to negotiate.
"It's unthinkable that he is the obstacle," Trump said. "You don't have the cards. Now he has even fewer cards."
