Holding coins long-term is not necessarily a wise choice.
In the past, I was psychologically manipulated to believe that a true investor must buy and hold for the long term, as Warren Buffett says it is true investing.
So, many coins that I had made profits of several tens of thousands of dollars were still held because they went up too quickly in just over a month. The result was that the amount of money at that time, if I had cashed out, would have decreased 200 times from billions to just a few million.
Later, I realized that in investing, it is not just about buying and holding long to win; what matters is when you buy. It may not necessarily be buying at the bottom, but at least don’t FOMO at the peak.
Otherwise, after many years, your capital will remain stagnant, even leading to losses, and you will lose out on opportunity costs.
