Saylor Hints at Another Bitcoin Buy Near $66K ๐
Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy (now operating as Strategy), hinted at another Bitcoin purchase as BTC trades around $66K.
Saylor posted the firmโs BTC accumulation chart on X with the caption โThe Second Century Begins,โ a signal the company may be preparing for another buy. Strategyโs last purchase came in late February when it acquired 3,015 BTC for over $204 million, bringing total holdings to 720,737 BTC, worth about $48B.
Despite the market pullback, the company continues accumulating Bitcoin through debt and equity financing. BTC is currently trading below Strategyโs average purchase price of ~$75,985, while the companyโs net asset value (NAV) is slightly below 1, meaning its shares trade at a discount to the value of its Bitcoin treasury.
Industry analysts suggest 2026 could see consolidation among crypto treasury companies, though Saylor has dismissed the idea of mergers or acquisitions due to financial uncertainty. ๐
