Vitalik Buterin wants “one-click” ETH staking for institutions
The idea is to make validator deployment as simple as possible, without heavy manual setup.
The Ethereum Foundation has already staked 72,000 ETH (around $146.7M) using a simplified distributed validator setup called DVT-lite.
In this model, a single validator can run across multiple machines. If one server goes down, another automatically takes over — reducing downtime risk and potential penalties.
Long-term, the goal is to spin up this infrastructure with a single command — essentially “one click” — bringing staking closer to institutional-grade operations.
