During a LIVE stream on Binance Square, a random viewer sent me a small donation of 0.00007144 BTC (around $5).
Today I received a message from Binance saying that this transaction was reported as potentially linked to fraudulent activity. Because of this, the platform asked me for an explanation and even requested a verification video in order to return the funds to the sender.
Personally, I do not know the person who sent the donation. It was simply a random viewer from the livestream.
This situation raises an interesting question for content creators:
if you run public livestreams and viewers can send donations, then theoretically anyone could send a small amount and later file a complaint.
