DFINITY has taken a step in this direction by entering the field of AI-assisted application development, with the release of the alpha version of Caffeine AI, based on natural language, indicating its intention to create what the foundation calls the 'self-writing internet,' where any of the 5 billion connected smartphone users can build AI-driven applications within minutes.
Dominic Williams, founder and chief scientist of the DFINITY Foundation, stated: "Self-writing will democratize application creation and ownership in an absolutely massive way, with self-writing application cycles potentially as easy as a smartphone conversation, which could lead to 5 billion application developers."
