Meta has delayed the release of its new AI model🤖 called "Avocado" because it was not performing strongly in internal testing. It was expected to be launched in March, 2026, but now it has been pushed to at least May, 2026 or later.
Avocado is designed to be next-generation AI system, similar to models from companies like OpenAI, $GOOGLon and Anthropic. It is expected to be integrated deeply into Meta's apps and ecosystem.
