Listen, when I first heard about the Kachina programming language and all these ZK schemes, I felt like someone was trying to trick me again. It’s annoying! Why does everything in crypto have to be so complicated that you can't figure it out without a bottle and a master's degree? But I figured it out because I understood the main thing: math is the only creature that will never lie to you in the eye.
All these usual blockchains work like an open book of accounts. Horrible! And Midnight with its Kachina language is making a clever move.
They divided the state of the network into public and private. It's genius! I can calculate something inside my 'private bunker', make a transaction, and the Midnight network will only see the result. And - the most important! - it will receive mathematical confirmation that I did everything honestly. No byte of unnecessary information will leak outside.
I really don't understand why we are still using systems where to confirm one fact you have to dump your entire biography. It's like in a bank: you want to take a loan, and they demand a certificate that you had lunch in kindergarten. Absurd!
Midnight Network this chain of idiocy is breaking. The mathematics of ZK-Snarks (or whatever they are using now, I don't care about the names, the result is what matters) works as a perfect filter. You show only 'yes' or 'no'.
I am often asked if I am betting too much on this. Not at all! I just see how corporations and hackers devour our data every day. And Midnight is my digital fortress. And Kachina here is the architect who builds walls that no one can break through until I open the doors myself.
Finally, at least someone actually thought about security!
All this Web3 movement without such mathematics is just a playground where a maniac watches your every step. I choose Midnight because I want to own my numbers myself. And if you think this is too complicated - well, continue living in a glass house until the stones come flying. I warned you!
