@MidnightNetwork It becomes exciting in the world of DeFi not because it carries the "privacy token" label, but because it could gain real utility if Midnight actually builds a usable ecosystem.
I believe that many privacy-related tokens are often marketed with a simple narrative: if the chain grows, the tokens benefit. With #Night , I see a more important angle. If Midnight actually succeeds. From transaction fees and liquidity incentives to network security and potential roles within private financial protocols, NIGHT only makes sense if it is within the actual economic flow of the ecosystem.
What matters here is that private DeFi is not just about hiding wallets or concealing transaction history. If users can keep positions or strategies or capital flows private while still being able to prove validity when needed, that creates an advantage that public DeFi still struggles to provide. This is where it seems Midnight is targeting, and frankly, this is a much stronger story than the public privacy brand.
In my view, #night is worth following in the long run only if private DeFi on Midnight ends up having real liquidity, real protocols, and real users in real time and in the real world.🚀👍
