The thing that kept bothering me when I sat with @Fabric Foundation n again was not whether challenge-based verification exists. It was what gets challenged hard enough to matter.

A network like this can look well-policed and still be selectively blind. If validators are paid to catch fraud, resolve disputes, and defend the rulebook, then expensive contested work naturally gets more scrutiny than cheap repeated harm. That is the part I think people are skipping.

Big failures are worth escalating. Small failures often are not.

So imagine the pattern. One high-value disputed job gets everyone’s attention because the downside is obvious. But a stream of lower-value misses, weak handoffs, small execution errors, or recurring low-grade service failures may never attract the same pressure. Not because they are harmless. Because they are too cheap, too frequent, and too annoying to fight one by one. The verification layer ends up strongest where conflict is dramatic, not where friction is constant.

That is not a minor design detail. It is a trust-boundary problem.

If @Fabric Foundation ties security and truth to validator challenges, then the network is not just proving what happened. It is also deciding what is worth caring about enough to contest. And that can create an ugly gap. Expensive work gets defended. Cheap harm gets normalized. Over time, the protocol can look strict on paper while letting small repeated damage stack quietly underneath.

What is worth disputing gets watched first.

That is why I do not read this as a validator feature. I read it as a selection problem inside the trust model. If Fabric wants $ROBO -backed verification to protect real robot work, it has to care about ordinary low-value harm before it becomes invisible by repetition. Otherwise the network may end up very good at policing big fights and oddly weak at stopping the small failures that actually shape daily trust. #ROBO
