Everyone in crypto is currently focused on AI tokens, memecoins, and the next short term hype cycle.
But I think many people are overlooking something that could become much bigger over time: privacy infrastructure.
As blockchain adoption grows, it becomes obvious that not every transaction or piece of data should remain fully public forever. Businesses, developers, and institutions will likely need systems that combine blockchain security with confidential data handling. That’s one reason @MidnightNetwork has started to catch my attention.
The idea behind @MidnightNetwork is interesting because it focuses on building technology that allows confidential smart contracts while still operating within the broader Web3 ecosystem. If that approach works well, it could solve a problem that many blockchain systems still struggle with balancing transparency with privacy.
Another thing worth watching is the role of $NIGHT within the ecosystem. Tokens that support infrastructure networks often become more important as adoption grows, especially if developers start building applications around them.
Of course, the crypto space moves fast and narratives change quickly. But if privacy becomes a bigger conversation in Web3, projects like @MidnightNetwork and tokens like $NIGHT could end up playing a much larger role than people expect.
I’m curious how others see it.
Do you think privacy-focused networks like @MidnightNetwork will become essential for Web3, or will the industry continue prioritizing full transparency.
