🚨Officially after Da Nang, Hanoi is planning to implement a pilot scheme for cryptocurrency exchanges this month.
On March 17 - Vietnamese companies are competing to launch the country's first licensed cryptocurrency exchange as the government shifts to restrict trading on foreign platforms in one of the world's most vibrant cryptocurrency markets.
Five companies have passed the initial qualifying round, according to a document from the Ministry of Finance dated March 12 that was reviewed by Reuters this week.
Among them are branches of three private Vietnamese banks and 2 companies.

- VPBank (VPB.HM)
- LPBank (LPB.HM),
- VIX Securities brokerage (VIX.HM),
- Sun Group,
Sun Group and VPBank have confirmed their license applications, while three other companies did not immediately respond to requests for comment via email.
The authorities are still working on this matter but will not comment further on specific “candidates”
