📉 Breaker Entry: the entry that gives you a signal and stop at the same time
Among so many trading strategies, one that I particularly like is the breaker entry. Why? Because it not only gives you a clear entry, but also naturally indicates where to place your stop loss.
🔹 How the breaker entry works
1️⃣ Within a daily order block, we first look for a swing low to form on the 1H timeframe
2️⃣ We do not enter on the first bounce movement ❌. The idea is to wait for liquidity to be generated: for many traders to believe that 'this is the floor' and enter long placing their stop below.
3️⃣ We want to see that swing low being swept 🕳.
4️⃣ Then we wait for the maximum that generated that swing low to be broken. That is the real confirmation.
🔹 Why wait for more confirmation?
Many will say: “you could have entered earlier in a low time frame FVG.” And that's true. But entering too early exposes you to false breakouts and unnecessary stops ⚠️.
On the other hand, by waiting for the complete break of structure, you sacrifice a bit of risk-reward ratio, but you gain in confidence and probability ✅.
🔹 The logic behind
👉 First, the trap is built (liquidity at apparent swing lows).
👉 Then the market eliminates the impatient with a sweep.
👉 And only when the associated high is broken does the confirmation arrive.
It is a process that takes advantage of mass psychology and institutional behavior.
✨ Final reflection
The breaker entry is not the fastest entry, but it is one of the strongest. I prefer to wait for that extra confirmation and increase my chances of success 🚀. In the end, trading is not about being the first, but about being the one who enters when the market has already shown its cards.
