True pain is silent

—— Written for every person facing liquidation: Are you okay?

Yesterday, the Web3 market saw liquidations of nearly 20 billion, setting the record for the largest single-day liquidation in history. It is said that market makers and those heavily invested were hit the hardest, but strangely, in such a big storm, not a single institution spoke up? Perhaps I missed something due to lack of information, but this seems a bit abnormal. According to PANews' analysis, the emotional and price drops of this level of liquidation might happen again in a few days, both technically and emotionally, which makes some sense. So, brothers, if you want to bottom fish, you can open a position, but do not go all-in.

At the same time, another type of news: various hot posts about the end of Web3 careers are spreading wildly online, some seem genuine, while others are highly provocative. But when I saw a report about an overseas crypto person found dead in their car, suspected to be a suicide, I suddenly realized one thing: true pain and despair are both silent;

We have no idea about the specific situations of those facing liquidation, whether they have families, debts, or the loneliness that crushes them. However, in such a level of liquidation, if you are the person involved, you must be experiencing immense psychological trauma. How could they still have the mind to write those uplifting articles?

When I lost several thousand dollars due to operational errors and tens of thousands because of a diamond hands strategy, I had no mood to write these things; words would only make me feel more guilty about my own foolishness and even twist my mind to criticize a founder who was just trying to do their job;

So, I want to remind every brother and sister still holding the fort in the Web3 space: Don't play contracts where life and death hang in the balance, don’t rush to bottom fish in the current market. Although stories of selling houses and going all-in to turn things around are inspiring, most are just tricks of online writing; even if they are real, they are extremely low-probability events. Why would it happen to me? The most important thing is to express goodwill to the outside world, and from time to time ask your online friends or people around you: Are you okay?

PS: Pain levels:

Expressive pain (audible): Pain in the early to mid-stages of trauma, energy still exists, expression is to seek attention, release pressure, or gain help;

Terminal pain (silent): Late-stage pain, energy depleted, individuals enter a state of helplessness, numbness, and isolation.
