Cloudflare said it plans to make its platform fully post-quantum secure by 2029 as quantum research shortens expected security timelines. Sharon Goldberg said Cloudflare plans to begin post-quantum authentication for origin connections in mid-2026 and complete deployment across services by 2029. Cloudflare said the same cryptographic math secures internet authentication and Bitcoin signatures.
