Porsche AG delivered 60,991 cars to customers worldwide in the first quarter, which is 15% less compared to 71,470 units in the same period last year, the company reported on Friday.
The German sports car manufacturer explained the decline by the completion of production of the 718 model with an internal combustion engine, the ramp-up phase of the fully electric Macan in the same period of the previous year, and the cancellation of tax incentives for electric and hybrid vehicles in the USA.
Despite the overall decline, deliveries of the 911 model range increased by 22% year-on-year in the first quarter. The structure of derivative models remained balanced across all model lines with a high share of GTS, Turbo, and GT models.
"After completing the production of the 718 with an internal combustion engine and high deliveries of the fully electric Macan at market launch, our figures are below last year's level but overall meet our expectations," said Matthias Becker, a member of the executive board for sales and marketing at Porsche AG.
North America remained the largest sales region with 18,344 vehicles delivered, which is 11% less than the 2025 level. Germany recorded 7,778 deliveries, which is 4% more compared to the same period last year. Europe excluding Germany delivered 14,710 vehicles, a decrease of 18%, while in China, deliveries fell by 21% to 7,519 units.
The Cayenne recorded the highest demand with 19,183 deliveries, a decrease of 4%. Porsche delivered 13,889 units of the 911 sports car, an increase of 22%. Deliveries of the Macan totaled 18,209 units, a decrease of 23%, including 8,079 fully electric variants.
Deliveries of the Panamera fell by 42% to 4,498 units, mainly due to a temporary gap in the product lineup ahead of the April launch of Pure Editions in China. The 718 series recorded 1,792 deliveries, a decrease of 60%, while deliveries of the Taycan decreased by 19% to 3,420 units.
The fully electric Cayenne will be presented in markets around the world starting this summer.
