TotalEnergies announced on Friday that one of the production lines at the SATORP oil refinery in Saudi Arabia was damaged as a result of incidents that occurred during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The French oil company reported that it has halted the affected units as a precautionary measure following incidents. TotalEnergies is currently conducting an assessment to determine the impact on the operation of the oil refinery.

The SATORP enterprise is located in Jubail, a city in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia, and is jointly owned by Saudi Aramco (TADAWUL:2222) and TotalEnergies.

The company did not provide details about the nature of the incidents or the extent of the damage to the technological line.
