Strategy bought 13,927 Bitcoin for $1 billion between April 6 and 12, taking its holdings to 780,897 BTC. The company said in an 8-K filing that it paid an average of $71,902 per coin and funded the purchase by selling 10 million STRC shares. Strategy made the purchase even after reporting $14.46 billion in unrealized digital asset losses for the first quarter of 2026.
