Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson criticized a proposal from the United States, stating it was unrealistic for Iran to accept the package in its entirety. According to Foresight News, the spokesperson emphasized that the proposal does not align with the principles of negotiation and dialogue. Previously, Iran had submitted a list of 10 ceasefire terms to the U.S. through Pakistan, in response to the U.S.'s 15-point ceasefire plan.

The spokesperson asserted that Iran, with the cooperation of Persian Gulf countries, is fully capable of ensuring security in the Middle East, provided the U.S. ceases military interventions and provocations. He warned that external interference would only complicate matters further. The spokesperson also noted that many European countries are wisely avoiding falling into the U.S.'s military trap.
