Iran accuses Trump of "seven lies" after the rise of Bitcoin and stock markets
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, accused President Donald Trump of making "seven claims in one hour, all of which were false." This statement came a few hours after the S&P 500 recorded its fastest recovery since 1982.
Ghalibaf posted this criticism on X (Twitter) and Telegram late Friday, directly opposing how Washington presents the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the broader terms of the ceasefire.
