According to Deep Tide TechFlow, UK digital bank Revolut recently announced that it has successfully obtained the MiCA license issued by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, paving the way for its cryptocurrency services in the EU region.
With this license, Revolut will be allowed to promote its cryptocurrency-related business in all 30 countries of the European Economic Area. The CEO of Revolut Digital Assets in Europe stated that the MiCA license is the cornerstone of the company's cryptocurrency strategic planning.
It is reported that Revolut plans to launch a new service called 'Crypto 2.0', which is expected to support over 280 cryptocurrencies, and introduce zero-fee staking, as well as a no-price-difference exchange function between stablecoins and US dollars.
