Tracking various Web4 narratives in the crypto market has become a part of my daily work. In recent months, the entire industry has been focusing on the monetization of behavioral data, and LongTech has entered my view with its AI smart watch. I reviewed the various technical documents they have disclosed since mid-March, trying to peel away the packaging to see the true logic underlying this system. The project clearly states in the white paper: "aiming to transform users' daily behaviors into quantifiable digital assets." This approach of converting every step taken and every consumption in the physical world into quantifiable digital assets is logically coherent, but during my actual research, I found that the trust challenges between physical hardware and on-chain data are not so easily overcome.
Last week I carefully checked the early testnet data they published on Binance Square. The VDPU chip, developed in collaboration with Dinocia and promoted by the project team as a technological breakthrough, along with the technical details of the ZKP zero-knowledge proof, indeed demonstrates a certain level of engineering strength. It is undeniable that directly collecting and encrypting data on-chain through hardware is indeed much more rigorous than simply relying on mobile software to prevent cheating. However, my personal concern is that any data network relying on physical sensors faces extremely high costs of witch attacks. If the cost of a smartwatch is fixed, when the output profit of LTT tokens far exceeds hardware depreciation, cheaters can completely fabricate health data in bulk.
I have been observing the performance of the DEX launched in the first quarter according to their roadmap. Currently, the initial liquidity is relatively stable, and there has been no excessive selling pressure. However, as an objective observer, I believe their real test will come in August this year. When a large volume of AI smart hardware is officially shipped and the complex behavioral data of real users floods into the network, whether the AI + hardware anomaly cleaning mechanism can withstand the pressure will be the key to determining whether this token model can operate sustainably.@LongTech官方
