Telegram founder Pavel Durov has announced a substantial reduction in transaction fees on the TON network. According to ChainCatcher, the fees will be decreased sixfold within a week, bringing the cost down to 0.00039 TON per transaction, approximately $0.0005. This fee will remain constant regardless of network load. Following this change, most transactions on the network will become entirely free, achieving zero transaction fees.
