The current market dominance trend is referencing the trend at the tail end of the previous halving, as detailed in the circle, but this trend is moving much slower than before. From the trend of BTC.D, it feels like the cycle has been extended.

BTC.D seems to be headed upwards for a while, then will turn downwards.
