According to Odaily, anonymous blockchain investigator Wazz has revealed that hundreds of wallets on the Ethereum mainnet have been emptied by a single address. Several of these wallets had been inactive for over seven years. The incident is suspected to be a new type of real-time vulnerability attack. Crypto user Capitulation commented that the most likely cause of the vulnerability was storing mnemonic phrases in LastPass's secure notes during 2020/21.
