- Basic Information: The total supply of XPL is 10 billion tokens, and when the mainnet test version is released in July 2025, the circulating supply will be 1.8 billion tokens. It is a governance and utility token based on the Bitcoin sidechain (EVM compatible), with the contract address 0x405FBc9004D857903bFD6b3357792D71a50726b0.

- Token Use: XPL is used to secure the Proof of Stake (PoS) network of Plasma, pay transaction fees, reward validators, and supports EVM execution, as well as a minimized trust Bitcoin bridge to facilitate global currency flow. Additionally, XPL can also be used for community governance to vote on network upgrades, validator policies, and inflation rates.
