Ronin has completed its migration from an independent Layer 1 blockchain to an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, built in collaboration with Optimism and Conduit, based on the OP Stack platform. The team claims this is the largest state migration in blockchain history, with minimal downtime, and RON tokens continue to be used as gas tokens.

In the meantime, Ronin has reduced the annual issuance of RON from 45 million to 5 million, with rewards now being directly distributed to developers through a new Proof of Distribution system.

Roots of Embervault is currently running on Abstract Chain and has amassed a loyal base of native crypto players, who can collect the main character Bob through Telegram for chatting and unlocking in-game loot boxes.

This collaboration will help RuYi Group expand into the Asia-Pacific market. YGG, founded in 2020 in the Asia-Pacific, now has over 100,000 players. '(Roots of Embervault) has huge blockbuster IP potential,' said YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon, 'We have the chance to bring its story to players in the Asia-Pacific, where they value games that truly test their skills.'

.ART Registry launched a global art process award.

.ART domain registry has launched the .ART Award, a brand new global award aimed at celebrating the tenth anniversary of the registry, with a total prize pool exceeding $50,000.

This award is open to artists from all regions, backgrounds, and mediums, shifting focus from the final piece to the creative process itself - applicants do not need to submit a single finished artwork but can share their creative practice through links to websites, portfolios, or social media profiles with a .ART domain.

The awards include a $15,000 grand prize, residency opportunities at Château de Fréjus in France and Marbella Amphitheater in Spain, a feature article in (White Wall) magazine, and a premium .ART domain valued at $10,000. Applications start on May 11 and close on November 1, 2026, with winners announced during the Miami Basel Art Fair on December 3.

The international jury includes Pulitzer Prize-winning art critic Jerry Saltz from (New York Magazine), Sasha Stiles, co-founder of theVERSEverse, Akanksha Ballaney, Senior Director of Business Development at Artsy and Artnet, and Irina Tarsis, founder of the Art Law Center.
