Claude Code founder claims programming issues are solved, but he forgot one thing.
1. Has programming really been "solved"? In May 2026, at the AI Ascent summit, Boris Cherny, the creator of Claude Code, shared his current status: "Since around October or November last year, the model has been able to write 100% of my code. Since entering 2026, I haven't written a single line of code myself." This statement sparked a huge reaction in the developer community, with many expressing: programming problems have truly been resolved. But upon closer inspection, there’s an overlooked issue: he’s using Claude Pro, which costs $25 a month, and requires a VPN.
Over the past few years, crypto users have been all in, trading various assets, including NFTs, crypto tokens, and cryptocurrencies, but they're missing one crucial thing: a trading hub where users can instantly trade any asset in the same environment without jumping between different protocols and sites... It's clear we need a one-stop trading platform where we can execute all trades at lightning speed with just a click, without hopping across different websites. As a crypto user, I totally get the hassle, especially when switching between sites feels like my grandma going to different markets to shop, haha... But honestly, I've always dreamed of having an app like a 'bank app' that lets me complete all trades quickly and conveniently. Every user needs this kind of app because nobody likes that headache, just like going to a big supermarket or shopping mall.
Welcome to the OpenSea news brief; let’s recap the most significant NFT and web3 updates from this week. MegaETH dropped their terminal points system alongside the token launch. MegaETH is an Ethereum L2 token aimed at slashing transaction confirmation times down to milliseconds. It launched the MEGA token on April 30th, along with the Terminal points system to track how users interact with apps running on its network. This setup comes with a bunch of restrictions. Reports say users can only choose up to three apps per week, and points are earned based solely on actual in-app activities, not on trading volume, wallet turnover, or fund circulation. Points aren’t transferable, so they’re closely tied to the usage observed within the system.
In recent years, some events in the tech circle have sent shivers down the spines of all Chinese developers: OpenAI announced that from July 9, 2024, they will cut off API services to Chinese developers. Claude is even more ruthless - announcing that starting September 2025, any company with over 50% Chinese capital will have their accounts directly banned, no matter where you are, a hard cut. In February 2026, OpenAI took action against Chinese accounts linked to cyber special forces, fake accounts, and attempts to contact U.S. officials, continuing to halt API access for countries and regions not on the support list (including China), and executing a mass exit of domestic applications that are just shells.
Art Blocks and OpenSea's artist residency program aims to support creative artists, and we invite artists to apply for a 4-6 week personal residency program in Marfa, Texas. Our artist cabins (or guest rooms) are fully equipped to provide a tranquil environment for resident artists to create, and participating artists will receive accommodation, a stipend, an Art Blocks studio contract, and time to focus on their art creation in the local Marfa environment and community atmosphere. At the end of the residency program, artists will showcase their work to the local community. Artists participating in the Art Blocks x OpenSea artist residency program must not be attending school or participating in other residency programs at the same time, nor may they use the residency period to engage in commercial projects or commissioned works.
Is your project going overseas? Hold up on buying that ticket; you don't even know where the people are.
I have a friend in Web3 who went to Dubai last year to expand his market. Before he left, he was pumped and posted a screenshot of a business class ticket from a certain airline with the caption: "New journey, see you in Dubai." Three days later he posted: "Dubai is great, but renting an office is super expensive." One week later: "Hiring in Dubai is tough, I applied to three platforms, and the resumes I received are fewer than the hairs on my head - and I’m already balding." One month later: "Guys, does anyone know someone in Dubai doing operations? Urgent, waiting online." Three months later, he came back. His social media was quiet for a long time.
