1. Basic Overview: Anji County is located in the northwest of Zhejiang Province and the southwest of Huzhou City. It is the source of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, with a county area of 1886 square kilometers. It administers 8 towns, 3 townships, and 4 streets, with a permanent population of 600,000. Anji County was established in AD 185, and the name of the county is derived from the Book of Songs: 'Peace and Good Luck.'

Geographic Environment: Anji County is located at the northern foot of Tianmu Mountain, with a terrain that is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, surrounded by mountains on three sides and a depression in the middle, resembling a 'dustpan shape.' It has a subtropical monsoon climate with distinct seasons, an average annual temperature of 15.8°C, and an average annual precipitation of 1398.6 millimeters.
