) This zkEVM Layer 2 looks perfect on the surface: zero-knowledge proof to prevent fraud, rollup compressing data on Ethereum, low fees and high compatibility. $LINEA tokens are multipurpose, handling gas, staking, and governance all at once, with a TVL exceeding 15 billion dollars by 2025. However, upon deeper examination, the flaws are evident—bridging is a single point of failure, and last week's news mentioned the risk of cross-chain attacks, which always makes me anxious when using it. Human weaknesses often lead to over-reliance on technology while ignoring human factors: although the team has a strong Consensys background, there is much controversy over the upgrade proposals, and I regretted voting against them. DeFi liquidity is good, but slippage leading to losses makes me conflicted. To be honest, Linea is stronger than Optimism in terms of security, but it falls short in maturity. #Linea has potential, but don't mythologize it; I will continue to observe.
